3- Seoul Museum of Chicken Art In Bukchon.
Seoul Museum of Chicken Art is a private museum displaying international and domestic collections that have a chicken theme. The museum features exhibits which focus on chickens in terms of cultural aspects in relation to people and society. At this unique museum visitors can appreciate a varied selection of artworks, including international pieces, expressing ideas about the chicken.

The special exhibition hall features 1,000 exhibits on Korea's traditional concept of the chicken, including paintings, arts and crafts, furniture, pottery and accessories. Through the special exhibition, visitors can appreciate many works of world-renowned artists, such as the late Lee Eung-ro (1904-1989), who painted “Chicken” in an ink-and-wash painting, using a linear perspective technique called collage. The exhibition also showcases various genuine antiques including a wooden chicken statue belonging to the parents of Empress Myeongseong. After the tour, visitors can enjoy a relaxed tea time in the museum café on the first floor with such interesting decor as chicken-character tea cups, spoons and even paintings on the walls of the museum.

4- The Yangnyeongsi Herb Medicine Museum In Dongdaemun-gu.

The Seoul Yangnyeongsi Herb Medicine Museum was established in 2006 to introduce people to the excellent effectiveness of Korean oriental medicine, and to preserve and pass on its history and culture. Fittingly, the museum is located across from the Seoul Yangnyeong Market, one of the most famous oriental medicine markets in Korea from which approximately 70% of the nation's oriental medicine is distributed.

Opened on September 13, 2006, the museum boasts a wide assortment of items: 500 pieces of equipment used by practitioners of herbal medicine, 420 artifacts related to the field of oriental medicine, and about 350 herbal medicinal items. A large number of antique books related to herbal medicine are also on exhibit at the museum, helping visitors unfamiliar to the practice gain an overall understanding of what effect each herb or technique has and how each is used when treating patients. 
The main hall of the museum features several sections such as the "The History and Culture of Korean Oriental Medicine", "Korean Oriental Medicine and the Human Body", "Medicinal Herb Village Story", "A Prescription for Harmony", "Korean Oriental Medicine Experience Corner for Children" and "The History and Traditions of Seoul Yangnyeongsi". Visitors can also relax while having a cup of Korean oriental medicine tea at the "Korean Oriental Medicine Cultural Center" and find out how healthy they really are at the "Korean Oriental Medicine Experience Room".
5. Leeum, Samsung Museum of Art In Yongsan-gu.
                        

                        


The Leeum Samsung Museum of Art is the perfect place to enjoy traditional and contemporary art created by Korean and international artists. Most of the exhibits on display at the museum are based on the large collection of the founder, the late Lee Byeong-cheol, once president of the Samsung Group. Three world-renowned architects, Maria Botta, Jean Nouvel, and Rem Koolhaas, were commissioned to design the outstanding museum complex. The name Leeum is the acronym of the family name of its founder, “Lee” and an abbreviated word for museum, “um”. The museum is composed of three individual buildings linked together as a composite complex. Museum 1 showcases traditional Korean arts and crafts such as calligraphy, ceramic arts and metal craft work, while Museum 2 displays dynamic modern and contemporary art by domestic and international artists, this section includes the Samsung Child Education & Cultural Center which offers cultural education for children.

You can't carry any sort of bag (of any shape) into the special exhibit, but thankfully cameras are allowed.The Leeum, Samsung Museum of Art is located nearby Hangangjin station. Get out exit 1 and follow the signs, while taking a right and going up a hill. You'll notice your in the right place if you see these sculptures by, Louise Bourgeois.

Many countries around the world have their own traditional medicine, which is built on their tradition and experience.As you all know Asian Countries as Well Known for there traditional medicine since ages. Western medicine dominated the health industry in a short period of time due to circumstances in recent history. The 19th century was the century of wars and epidemics so Western medicine was needed more as it focused on surgical operations and bacterial study.However situations have changed. The threat of war is less prevalent than in the past and surroundings are more hygienic. Interests are growing in degenerative and other diseases rather than emergency cases.
The world is aging fast and environmental awareness is growing, so demand for natural medicine is growing fast.Korea is not only a hot destination for medical tourism, but many doctors from around the world are coming to learn the latest medical technologies. Korean medicine was originated in ancient and prehistoric times and can be traced back as far as 3000 B.C.The oldest medical book in China, Huangdi Neijing (475-221 BC or 206 BCE–220 BCE) states its first text, Suwen that “Stone Needle Acupuncture came from the East”. Also from another ancient text originating in China, Shan hai Jing (BC 202∼AD 220). Stone needle acupuncture of the Paleolithic Age was discovered in North Hamgyong Province in North Korea, which proves that the history of acupuncture dates back over 4,000 years; even longer ago than the Stone Age period.In the Goryeo dynasty  traditional medicine from the Silla dynasty and Indian medicine as influenced by Buddhism were adopted. By the time the Yuan Dynasty was established in China, Korean medicine had developed its own techniques. This was because hostile states in southern Manchuria at Korea's borders prevented the exchange of medical knowledge between the two countries. More investigation of domestic herbs took place, and the result was the publication of numerous books on domestic herbs. Medical theories at this time were based on medicine of Song Dynasty and Yuan Dynasty|Yuan  but prescriptions were based on the medicine of the Unified Silla period see the medical text Hyangyak Gugeupbang which was published in 1245 and can be translated as First Aid Prescriptions Using Native Ingredients.

Yulmucha (Job's tears tea)

The doctor will carefully feel the pulse and observe the face, voice, and physical features of the patient, while asking about his or her eating habits, lifestyle, and character.

Hello Friends there is no such person who does not love colorful lighting lanterns & that to huge as a elephant size / small as a butterfly size so or we could even make our own if anyone traveling Korea to experience winter you must experience the warmth of the 4th Seoul Lantern Festival in the chilling cold weather from 2nd of November 2012 to the 18th along side of Cheonggyecheon Stream !

There will be around 30000 various shape sized lanterns which were in use at the time of Joseon Dynasty /Various types of animals/Various Musical instruments/ we can also see all the 7 wonders shining together in night /Logos of Companis or Organizations which is shown in and along side of famous man-made stream Cheonggye Plaza and Seungyo Bridge which gets a dipped into the lights and even it makes a perfect refection of the lanterns in the water.But do visit one section that features Korea's 600 years old traditional lanterns made by local artists & with many international artist made lanterns.

As Winter comes first things comes to our mind is Vacation,Christmas & New Year Party's i.e just having Fun & Party.So there are lots of places must visit in winters in Korea from Mid November to End of February.As it has started to getting cold from last 20 days or so were are at the doorsteps of winter In Korea.

If Any one is a Skiing lover or want to learn skiing then Korea is a paradise for adventures sports during Winter.There are also short training courses of skiing which are helpful. As there are many Ski Resorts but there are some which are must visit here is the List -

1. Yangji Pine Resort is equipped with many fine slopes that can be enjoyed by both beginner and expert skiers.Which Just takes 50 Mins. of bus ride from Seoul.It has "Everland Resort" which is the Best amusement parks in Korea. Everland is a large-sized theme park that holds more than 4.5 million Pyongyang of land housing an animal zoo, amusement park, snow sledding slopes, botanical gardens and more. Korea’s largest theme park lives up to its reputation, as it dresses the whole park in a wondrous illusion even down to the part-time cleaning employees, wearing cute uniforms. The colorful fantasy world of Everland provides an enormous array of events and rides along with sledding at the Everland Snow Sledding Slopes, and remains truly a must-visit for those desiring to fully feel the sensations of Korea’s winter. 
   
   

2. Jisan Forest Resort is located in Icheon city, Gyeonggi-do province, and due to it’s close proximity to Seoul, many people come to the resort to enjoy a day on the slopes.It is located 1hrs of Bus journey from Seoul.

3. The Gyeonggi Konjiam Resort is the largest ski resort in the Gyeonggi-do region, and is located only 40 minutes from Seoul. The resort provides a total of 11 ski slopes.

4. Yongpyong The patron saint of ski stations in Korea. In operation since 1976, and with an elevation of 1350 m, it offers a wide variety of slopes.  It is the largest ski and snowboard resort in Korea. It has 31 slopes, 15 different lift facilities, including one 3.7 km. long cable car lift, and Korea's largest ski house.Count on three hours travel time from Seoul  by shuttle bus and car only. The Rainbow lift seems to operate only for a limited time. The Gold lift features mostly long intermediate runs.Yongpyong will host technical alpine skiing events for the 2018 Winter Olympics (slalom and giant) and 2018 Winter Paralympics.

5. Muju is Perhaps the most scenic layout of any ski resort in Korea. A beautiful panorama awaits you at the highest summit of any ski station in the country (approximately 1530 m). Catch some “Hermanator” time on the summit runs! Again, plenty of nearby accomodations.It is rail-accessible and also the only major resort south of Seoul (it is located S.E. of Daejeon in North Jeolla Province).

6. Phoenix Park is Almost all the way to Yongpyeong it is known as the most snowboard-friendly resort among Korean boarders. Some great runs, but again really only accessible by car or shuttle bus. At an elevation of 1050 m, it boasts the Aerial course and the Champion lift with the rather ambitiously named Mount Blanc lodge perched on the highest peak.

Many of the ski resorts of Korea are scattered throughout Gangwon-do Province, the region that gets the most annual snowfall. These facilities, despite their location outside the popular city of Seoul, attract thousands of tourists each year who have come to try their luck on the slopes and experience the magic of winter.

The Seoraksan National Park of Korea is famous for both its geographical features and its hot springs. After a rewarding hike in the beautiful snow-covered mountains and then settle down at the Seorak Waterpia for a memorable bath in the hot springs when it is snowing outside. The waterpark overlooks the wondrous mountain ranges of the Seoraksan Mountains, offering a large variety of water facilities and therapies in the Aqua Dome, and an array of small themed baths providing a great view of the scenery.

Daegwallyeong Snow Festival features many Ice sculptures competition from the artists from around the world.Which is held in mid January every year.There are variety of events including magic shows, music concerts, making a snowman and sledding.Near Jangseong visitors can enjoy a fabulous Ice fishing experience & catch a smelt Which lives in clean water only. 

Hallasan Mountains is another amazing place to visit not only in winters but any time of the years it is place which would any Mounters or Hiking/Trek or Adventure lover would loved to be there.

It is in the beautiful Jeju-do Island’s & it is also the highest Peak of Korea.
